Stephen Smith installed the Claude for Word add-in and used it in suggested-edits mode on a 30-page document. Claude rewrote two sections and answered a string of comments. For comments, it read each thread, edited the anchored passage as a tracked change, and replied to explain. Smith reviewed the changes in Word's own review pane.
效果如何
He finished the work in one morning without leaving Word, and every edit arrived as a native tracked revision. He judged it cleaner than Copilot's tracked changes, though he says head-to-head reviews are still emerging.
值得注意
It's a beta that needs a Claude Team or Enterprise plan. Anthropic warns against untrusted external documents because of prompt injection, and the add-in doesn't yet connect to audit logs.
